I figured that it will likely run and play better on my new PC than it would on my PS5 based on the demo, which has disappointing image quality and performance.> SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT > HE COME TO ME WITH MOVING SHIT IN HIS CUFF, HE FUCKING OFFERED ME, I DIDN'T FUCKING ASK HIM, I WASN'T KILLING SOMEONE'S JACKED UP BEAST DOWN, I WAS RUNNING FROM SOMEWHERE I WOULD NOT CALL EARTH, WHEN I GOT OUT, I WAS TALKING TO A CUFF. Pre-ordered it for the PC anyway and managed to get it for a far more 'reasonable' (ha!) £51 from GreenManGaming rather than the £65 it is selling for on Steam, a price point that honestly made me gasp in shock on PC. Normally, late review embargoes ring alarm bells for me as it means the publisher lacks confidence in the game. Also, we do not yet know how it fares in terms of reviews and the game is released tomorrow. If you are launching a new IP then you really need to price it to make it as appealing as possible not do the opposite. I felt that this game might have done quite well due to the timing in the quieter post-Christmas period, when people might be looking for something new to play, but the high price, even on PC, may end up killing its chances. Kind of like a faster Elden Ring without the difficulty if I had to compare it with anything. I enjoyed the PS5 demo although the lack of cutscenes and narrative made for a confusing experience with a very bland and forgettable playable character which I hope will not be the case with the final game because the combat and flow of the game was pretty good.
